Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Guitar World Magazine will today premiere the first song from former Emperor vocalist/guitarist Ihsahn’s forthcoming new album, After. “Frozen Lakes on Mars” is the fourth song from the anticipated album that was confirmed for a January 26 American release date last week. Recorded during the first half of 2009, After completes the musician’s planned trilogy of initial recordings. The album showcases the Norwegian icon with drummer Asgeir Mickelson (Spiral Architect), bassist Lars K. Norberg (Spiral Architect), & saxophonist Jorgen Munkeby (Shining).
